Our Mission is to spread everywhere a passionate desire for the presence of God and the rule of God so people might be blessed.
Our Vision is to become people who are:
Pastor Ben Williamson has been with us since May of 2017. A native of Illinois, Ben grew up in the east-central part of the state hear Hoopeston. Ben’s passion is to teach the Word of God and make the Bible come alive. Ben has served in both pastorate and parachurch ministry, ministering to people of all ages. Ben enjoys reading, parks, and ice cream.
Ben’s ministry is not considered complete without mention of his wife. After attending Dallas Theological Seminary, Ben met Anna at the church they both were attending and they married on October 8, 2011.
Anna taught Kindergarten and third grade in Dallas and is certified here in Illinois. Anna’s passion is reaching children for the LORD, with many years of experience in AWANA and other children’s programs. She also enjoys fellowshipping and studying the Bible in women’s ministry. Anna loves cooking, entertaining guests, and curling up with a good book.
Together, they are the proud parents of three boys: Luke, age 6, and Sammy, age 3 and Nathaniel, age 10 months (not pictured).

Only the Bible can answer these great questions of life: “Why are we here?” “What are we to do?” and “How can we know what happens at the time of our death?”
“For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him.” (Colossians 1:16-17)
In order to know God’s purpose for your life, you need to know God. He desires to have a relationship with you, but sin has separated man from God. In order to restore His relationship with man, God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross to pay the penalty for man’s sin. Jesus Christ has paid the penalty for your sin, but you must make a choice. You must choose, in faith, to believe that Jesus died for your sins.
The belief and teaching of the Fiatt Independent Christian Church is summarized below:
The Fiatt Independent Christian Church has a rich history. It is the only church remaining in central Illinois of the once well-known denomination, New Light Christian Church, which formed an Illinois conference in 1839. By 1912, fourteen New Christian churches were in the local conference; however, when the Western Illinois Christian Conference was merging in 1931, only the Fiatt Church survived.
