MINISTRIES

Women’s Ministry

Our church is blessed to have a strong women’s ministry of deep rooted and mature Christian women. This group provides support in our congregation and community to those who are hospitalized or ill by visiting, sending flowers, providing meals to families; to those who have lost loved ones by providing funeral dinners; and by planning and organizing potlucks and special occasion meals.  They also organize special events for the ladies in our church and community members as well.

Ministry & Missions Outreach

Fiatt Independent Christian Church  is thrilled to be part of the spreading of God’s word in our local communities and around the world. We are active in supporting local food pantries and  missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We also provide support in an annual mission trip to an American Native Reservation in Bemidji, Minnesota each year.  We utilize fundraisers to raise additional financial support for these trips.  We currently provide dedicated financial support two local food pantries, the Spoon River Pregnancy Center, Faith Bible Camp, CIM Red Lake Reservation and RHMA.

Media & Technology

FICC is a small country church with faith in a BIG God!  We are blessed to be able to utilize technology in spreading the gospel.  Sermons are livestreamed each week on our Facebook page and audio is uploaded to our website as well.

Our pastor’s sermons are also available on a local radio station at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings at BYS 94.1 FM or 1560 AM.  We are working on expanding our mission field to other formats as well.

Children’s Ministry

FICC is dedicated to serving the Lord.  We believe that reaching children is a vital and important part of our ministry.  We have AWANA for ages 3 through 6th grade on Wednesday nights from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, providing a sack “lunch” meal and transportation where needed.  We also plan VBS, Vacation Bible School, each summer for a week of learning, games, snacks and crafts. All children who wish to attend are welcome and transportation is provided where needed.

Adults & Youth

We offer two adult Sunday School Classes and a High School Class on Sunday mornings.

We also have a Women’s Bible Study class on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am that meets September through May.  They study various books of the bible and take their time doing it!

Currently we are working with local high school to develop FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Huddles, by providing support and breakfasts for their meetings.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, our Pastor leads a pastoral prayer before the sermon. Every Monday night at 6:00 p.m. we have prayer warriors gather to pray over our pastor, for our church, a list of church members, any special requests, missionary prayer needs, other churches, and our government leaders.  Throughout the week, our Prayer Warriors pray for these requests and needs.
