Our congregation is committed to reaching youth in our area. We have many volunteers who love the Lord and love children…. a truly winning combination! We offer several opportunities for youth to learn about Jesus Christ!
Sunday School (9:30 to 10:20 a.m.)
We have classes for toddlers, preschoolers, 1st through 3rd grade, and 4th through 6th grade. Our Sunday School curriculum covers a scope and sequence of three years. Each year, up to 10 biblical concepts are presented to the children through age-appropriate lessons as they study God’s Word. Our younger classes have crafts in addition to a lesson, and our preschoolers and toddlers also have a snack. Interaction and prayer are a big part of our classes as we bring God’s Word to life for them.
Nursery is provided during the pastor’s sermon for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners. Activities may include hearing a Bible story, listening to music, coloring, working puzzles, creating Bible stories on flannel board, enjoying a snack and playing with one another.
Junior Church (During the school year)
We offer Junior Church to children in 1st through 6th grades during the pastor’s sermon. This is a time for them to move and learn! We use Sunday School curriculum so that children who do not attend Sunday School will benefit from structured lessons. Our time includes many opportunities for fellowship, interaction, activity and prayer. Over the summer months, we take a break from Junior Church, and offer “Sermon Bingo” to encourage the children to really listen during the sermon.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, we hold a five-day VBS for children in Preschool through 6th grade. There are rumors of adding a time for teens in the future, stay tuned! VBS is a fun-filled week for everyone which includes Bible lessons, crafts, games, snacks, meeting new friends and enjoying old ones. We usually have the children do a short musical program for parents and our congregation on the Sunday following the last day of VBS.
AWANA is currently being delivered to the homes of all children participating due to COVID-19. Sign up from our home page. Wednesday nights during the school year, deliveries from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed! Our AWANA program brings the Word of God to boys and girls ages 3 to 12. That covers preschool through sixth grade! Our goal is to prepare our young people to “do life” with God’s Word in their hearts. They enjoy a light meal, fellowship time together, singing, a Bible lesson, memory verses, game time and prayer.
We offer a variety of ministry programs for junior high and high school aged students.
Junior High and High School students share a class where they study God’s word, explore ways God’s word is applied in their lives, and fellowship together.
This summer quarter will be starting in June and their Sunday School Class utilizes The Gospel Project and cover the following:
Paul In Prison
Jesus Will Come Again
For ages 1st grade through 6th grade is on break for the summer and will resume when school starts.
Trek & Journey meet typically August through May during the school year.
TREK is a part of AWANA for our 7th and 8th-grade students. They enjoy a meal, fellowship time, Bible study and games. This is a very crucial time in a young person’s life as they are becoming teenagers. Our goal is to fill their hearts with God’s Word and show them they are loved so they are better equipped to handle what comes their way.
JOURNEY is a part of AWANA for our high school students, 9th through 12th grade. Teens face many obstacles and difficult decisions. Our hope is that through fellowship, God’s Word, prayer and love, they will be better equipped to handle life. We have had a great response from our area teens with large classes the past two years.
Our Adult ministry is alive and active! Each of our leaders and our participants are committed to God’s Word and to making class time educational and interesting. Each study consists of Bible study, discussion, fellowship, and prayer…and sometimes a treat! On Sunday mornings we have donuts, coffee, juice, and milk!
We currently have three adult Sunday School classes. Each class uses a different curriculum, which includes Bible study, discussion, and prayer. Attendance in these classes ranges from 8 to 15 men and women per class.

Other ministry options are available including Missions and Prayer.
We feel strongly about reaching the lost with the gospel of Christ. We currently support 13 missionaries financially and/or in prayer. In addition, we support two local food pantries and provide outreach assistance to those particularly in need.
These ladies reach out to those of our congregation, and some within our community, who have lost loved ones by providing funeral dinners and other support as needed. When one of our congregation is hospitalized, flowers and cards are sent, visits are made, and meals are arranged to be taken daily as needed for those recovering at home. They also provide fruit baskets at Thanksgiving and/or Christmas to shut-ins, as well as stopping by periodically to visit with them. Our Women’s Serving Committee, which includes nearly every lady in our church, plans and organizes potlucks and special occasion meals. Our church is blessed with amazing cooks! You will never leave hungry from a meal served at our church!
Our prayer warriors are strong! We join in prayer for our country; the leaders of our country; our service men & women; those who are ill or struggling with cancer; those recovering from surgeries, in therapy or shut in; our missionaries & missions; and our church officials. We also have a prayer chain that functions as needed for day to day requests for family and friends. We have seen firsthand that God hears and answers prayer!
